Connect to HandsOn Action Centers
AmeriCorps Alums exists within the same network as HandsOn Action Centers, also known as Affiliates, Volunteer Centers or Cares organizations. They connect thousands of volunteers to meaningful service, professional and social opportunities throughout the United States, and increasingly, throughout the world.
We encourage AmeriCorps Alums Chapters to partner with HandsOn Action Centers in their city or region! HandsOn Action Centers can:
- Act as a Chapter's fiscal agent
- Provide volunteer opportunities for the Chapter
- Offer professional development activities
- Hold social events the Chapter can participate in or co-sponsor
