How do I connect with my local chapter?
On the homepage of each respective chapter, chapter leaders names are listed in the right margin. A good place to start would be with your local chapter leader. To contact your chapter leader, simply click on his/her name, and you will be redirected to his/her profile. You may then contact your chapter leader via e-mail or phone (if listed).
If no chapter leader is listed, your chapter currently has no chapter leader. If you are interested in becoming a chapter leader, please contact
Whitney Soenksen.
How is AmeriCorps Alums funded?
AmeriCorps Alums depends on the investment of its members in AmeriCorps Alums as a primary source of funding. We believe that the benefits we provide to our membership base are valuable, and in turn we ask that members invest a minimal amount via membership dues and/or donations.
AmeriCorps Alums is also backed by the Points of Light Institute, a civic change institution that brings people together to strengthen communities through meaningful volunteer action. Through the Points of Light Institute, we are provided with a solid infrastructure from which to incubate and grow our own infrastructure.
