1 To be eligible for the Eli Segal Award, you must have been an AmeriCorps alumnus for at least 12 months from the end of the submission deadline (December 1 of each year)

2 As a thank you, all Premium and Lifetime members will receive a subscription to the edgy, socially-conscious GOOD Magazine. Premium Members will receive a one-year subscription to GOOD, while Lifetime Members will receive a ten-year subscription to the magazine. New Premium and Lifetime members are recorded at the end of each month and provided to GOOD Magazine’s fulfillment bureau to start subscription service. Because GOOD is a bi-monthly publication delivery of your first issue may take up to two months. This promotion is GOOD for US orders only.

3 Free Tax Returns: Through our partnership with www.thebeehive.org/alums, all AmeriCorps Alums online community members are eligible to file both federal and state tax returns at no cost to themselves (adjusted gross income must be under $54,000)

4 AmeriCorps Alums Book Club ® (social options that aren’t happy hours; Book Club choices are listed on the website and Alums host discussion forums and bi- monthly conference calls to discuss featured books.

5 Change Maker Conference Call ®: Offers opportunities for alums to speak to/ask questions to a popular thought leader. (Past speakers have included Cheryl Dorsey (CEO of Echoing Green) and Seth Goldman (CEO of Honest Tea).

6 Advocacy Opportunities: Each year, AmeriCorps Alums identifies alums who are dedicated to promoting and enhancing national service and convenes these alums in Washington D.C. to speak and educate Congress on the value of AmeriCorps to our communities and to our country.

8 For Commission Staff Only: AmeriCorps Alums provides state-specific downloads of the most up-to date list of AmeriCorps alumni in respective states. Downloads can be used to communicate to alumni, be it a need for grant reviewers or to help with the latest AmeriCorps recruitment push.

9For Commisison Staff Only: Members of the AmeriCorps Alums Online Community can virtually connect to other out-of-state Commission colleagues and AmeriCorps Program Staff by joining the Commission Working Group and AmeriCorps Program Staff Homepages, respectively.
