When:  Saturday, November 17, 2007... 9am - 1pm
Where:  Country Club Creek Trail located off of Pleasant Valley Road, 78741
What:  We'll be joining SEATAG (Southeast Austin Trails and Greenways) & ACC (Austin Community College) students at the Country Club Creek Trail* at Guerrero-Colorado River Park.  Austin Parks Foundation** will provide water, tools, instruction and supervision.  Tasks will include: mowing, cutting, spreading, packing, assembling & planting.  Lunch & live music will be provided afterwards!

Please contact Annie Buckman at by Wednesday, November 14th 2007.  She will send out a reminder to those that sign up a few days before the event.
*About the Trail: Country Club Creek Trail will ultimately be a three mile hike and bike trail running from Guerrero-Colorado River Park / Kreig Fields down to Mabel Davis Park. The first one mile of the trail has been built from Krieg Fields through Guerrero Park.
**About APF: Austin Parks Foundation is a small non-profit dedicated to supporting and improving Austin's parks. This project is a part of Austin Parks Foundation's Action for Parks program, which uses community volunteers to address maintenance and improvement issues in Austin's parks. Action for Parks strives to bring together the resources to create and sustain change in parks that are overused and under funded.
