AmeriCorps Alums is mobilizing a leadership team of Alums who think NCCC is too important for America to be cut from the federal budget!!  Join us for an all day strategy session on March 9th in Boston Massachusetts to help develop a strong course of action in response to this immanent challenge.  In addition, join us on March 10-11 for the larger AmeriCorps Alums conference where this issue is sure to be of great priority (Register here). Our coalition includes community beneficiaries, project sponsors, national nonprofit leaders, but most of all the 10,000+alumni of AmeriCorps*NCCC who know first hand the important service this program provides to communities across the nation.  The effort to Save NCCC began with the release of the 2007 budget, but will prove to be a sustained effort that will require alumni involvement throughout.

To participate in this seminar, please register above or for more information on this event, please contact Diana Epstein at depstein@lifetimeofservice.org. Lunch will be provided.   We are encouraging participants who need to stay overnight to stay at the Boston HI-USA Hostel.  We have secured a reduced rate of $28/night.  If you plan on staying for the larger Alums Conference, please click here to register.  Scholarships are available.
