Project Details

This indoor and outdoor project offers volunteers several ways to impact community gardens and a high school. Volunteers will build "conversation station" benches for community gardeners to be installed in up to 50 gardens throughout the City of Cleveland. Additionally, volunteers will help to beautify the New Tech East campus. Projects will help to develop a learning space for students and the community inside the school walls, outside on the school campus, as well as in the community.

This project aims to bring people of all backgrounds together to show unity and commonality through service.

Modifications to the project can be made for volunteers with limited mobility.

New Tech is part of the Cleveland Central Promise Neighborhood, a collective impact initiative that works to transform the educational and developmental outcomes of children in Cleveland’s Central Neighborhood.
