Montpelier Launches Campaign to Change 20,000 Light Bulbs

AmeriCorps members in Montpelier, Vermont are set to take part in an ambitious energy efficiency plan that has been launched throughout the city. The goal is to replace 20,000 conventional light bulbs throughout the city with new, highly efficient, compact fluorescent bulbs. Backers of the plan say it will reduce the city's carbon footprint and save homeowners and businesses money.
