AmeriCorps Alums Technology Initiative Application
AmeriCorps Alums is looking for dedicated, innovative, energetic self-starters to volunteer for its Technology Initiative. The role of the Technology Initiative team will be to assess and rebuild the AmeriCorps Alums Technology infrastructure. We are seeking assistance in from an advisory perspective, but will also need some help on drafting actual website content. A marketing background is preferred.  The project will run from October 6th (first phone meeting) until July 1, 2010 (about 9 months).
 
Team Commitments:
  • Attend a 30 minute conference call bi-weekly
  • 1-2 hours/week volunteer work on task
  • 10-15 mins 2 times per week to email/visit online group
  • Register on www.americorpsalums.org, keep an active profile and join the Technology Initiative Group
Project Description:
  • Review initial Technology assessment, provide feedback
  • Conduct 3 informational interviews with local chapter leaders to collect their feedback
  • Provide input on which technology solution we go with
  • Join monthly calls with POLI Tech lead in advisory capacity
  • Review Taproot Grant proposal for pro-bono Technology services
