AmeriCorps Alums DC will be working with the National Center for Children and Families on 9/11!

NCCF envisions a society in which children, youth, and families live in sustained, supportive communities, which reinforce the integrity and unity of the family. Greentree Adolescent Program (GAP) is a therapeutic residential facility for adolescents (ages 12-21) with long-standing family problems and histories of abuse and/or neglect. GAP addresses the educational, medical, mental health, spiritual, recreational, and social needs of young people throughout the State of Maryland.

We will be conducting and participating in a game of softball or flag football with 18-20 youth from the NCCF program! Good Clean Fun! Come out and make a child smile!

Location: 6301 Greentree Road, Bethesda, MD (Not METRO accessible, so email: for a ride or to offer to drive!)
Project Time: 4PM – 6:30PM

Team Captain:  Stephen Anfield Phone Number:(202) 870-0577
