Join the Atlanta AmeriCorps Alums Chapter and the Atlanta Urban League (AUL) strengthen and empower the future of disadvantaged individuals through career assessment and skill building. Since its founding in 1920 the Atlanta Urban League’s mission is to enable and empower African Americans and other minorities to achieve their highest human potential and to secure economic self-reliance, parity, power and civil rights.

Volunteers are needed to help determine aptitude, interests, strengths, and weaknesses in relation to future career and employment opportunities for individuals seeking entry level positions.

Volunteers are needed help assist AUL clients with the following:

- Creating resumes

- Creating E-mail accounts

- Administering Mock Interviews

Business Casual Dress is suggested and please no children under 16. 

During this project the Atlanta Urban League is willing to provide childcare assistance. In your RSVP please make a note if you need childcare assistance and what age the child is.

The Atlanta Urban League is located in the United Way Building and is a short walk from Five Points MARTA station. Or you can park for FREE in the United Way parking garage.  Need to carpool? Available to carpool? Contact Renee Dubois at
