Who are the TRAILBLAZERS? The AMERICORPS ALUMS TRAILBLAZERS are a group of AmeriCorps alumni who started serving between 1994 and 2004. These alums led the way in the early years of national service, so that others could follow in their path. They are exemplars, who continue to live a life of service as stated with the six powerful words of the AmeriCorps pledge: “my year of service and beyond.” The Trailblazers are taking this pledge seriously by investing in younger members of the AmeriCorps Alums network and by protecting AmeriCorps so that people have the opportunity to serve for generations to come. Who Can Join? Are you a proud AmeriCorps alum who served between 1994 and 2004? Do you believe that the AmeriCorps alums network gets things done for America and makes our communities “safer, stronger, and healthier?” Do you think that we, as AmeriCorps alums, should “lift as we climb,” so that as we advance in our careers we can also support younger alums to develop as leaders? Then you should join.

Why Join the Trailblazers? When you graduated from AmeriCorps, did you have access to the people, ideas, and resources you needed to support your transition to “life after AmeriCorps”? Do you want to ensure that Americans have the opportunity to serve in AmeriCorps for generations to come? Then join today. Your annual investment helps to ensure all AmeriCorps members and alumni are connected to the people, ideas, and resources that support their commitment to a lifetime of service. It also ensures the alumni voice is heard by decision makers when we are fighting to save AmeriCorps. Club members are also crucial advisors to the Alums leadership team and are among the first to get breaking Ameri-news and updates.
