AmeriCorps Alum Leaders Needed

Over the next few months, AmeriCorps Alums will begin the process of transitioning its branding and strategic direction to more closely align with the interest areas of our alumni and alumni chapters. That transition begins today.

AmeriCorps Alums is looking for talented and passionate alumni interested in helping us grow and improve! The leadership opportunities below are a great way to contribute to a national platform that is growing rapidly. The role of the AML team will be to successfully launch the AmeriCorps 15th anniversary viral  awareness campaign, find alumni, build our database, and communicate/market our new brand and key messages.  The project will run from Oct 5th (first phone meeting) until December 31st, 2009 (approx. 3 months).

The role of the SSE Team will be to pilot a program that will assist at least 40 chapters in creating signature service projects taking place during National AmeriCorps Week (NAW) and/or celebration events.  Each team member will have a portfolio of at least 3-5 chapters to assist and the project will run from Oct. 5th, 2009 to May 31st, 2010 (8 months).

The role of the Technology Initiative team will be to assess and rebuild the AmeriCorps Alums Technology infrastructure. We are seeking assistance in from an advisory perspective, but will also need some help on drafting actual website content. A marketing background is preferred.  The project will run from October 6th (first phone meeting) until July 1, 2010 (about 9 months).
