Social Work & Counseling


Designed for social workers who want to make a difference in their communities, the MSW@USC is The University of Southern California's Master of Social Work delivered online. The program features live online classes and hands-on field experiences in students’ own communities. Classes are taught online in an engaging, collaborative classroom by supportive USC School of Social Work faculty, so students do not need to relocate to earn this top-ranked degree.

We are excited to offer AmeriCorps Alums who are admitted into this highly competitive program a scholarship in the amount of $5,000 tuition benefit. New students only.

SocialWork@Simmons is an innovative, online Master of Social Work (MSW) program offered through the Simmons School of Social Work, the nation’s oldest school of social work. Combining live classes taught by renowned SSW faculty, internships in or near students’ own communities, and the same rigorous curriculum as the on-campus MSW program, SocialWork@Simmons prepares clinical social workers for direct, real-world practice with individuals, groups, families, and communities.

Through Counseling@Northwestern, The Family Institute at Northwestern University offers online students across the country its pioneering fusion of education and dynamic clinical training previously available only to on-campus Master of Arts in Counseling students.

Counseling@Northwestern students explore the depths and complexities of the psychodynamic perspective and receive immersive clinical training rooted in theory and informed by evidence-based practices. After two years, graduates are equipped as self-reflective practitioners to provide high-quality mental health services.
