Some of you may have noticed the recent addition of the "My Impact" link on the AmeriCorps Alums Online Community Menu, and wondered what it is.  Over the next few weeks, AmeriCorps Alums will be running a beta test on this new tool.  The idea behind the "My Impact" tool is that it will help AmeriCorps Alums to gauge your impact as alumni, and help you to see your own impact as an alumnus.  The tool allows you to enter and track the impact you are making as an active citizen in your community.  Please feel free to click the "My Impact" link and browse its functionality.  We especially encourage you to join or create a Service Nation Day of Action Project if you are participating in the Day of Action on September 27, 2008.
The addition of this new tool is the result of a partnership with Zazengo.  Zazengo enables all organizations with a desire for social action to attract, inspire and empower their members with an easy-to-use, shared platform that provides project matching, tracking, action and impact across multiple projects and organizations.  It is important to reiterate that we are currently in test phase, and you may may experience bugs with the new tool.  If, during your browsing, you should discover any difficulties, please report them to Greg Heinrich at
