Segal AmeriCorps EdAward Goes Paperless

You can now create and submit your Segal AmeriCorps Education Award (recently renamed by Congress after the first CEO of the Corporation for National and Community Service, Eli Segal), Forbearance (defer loan payments while you serve), and Interest Accrual (have the interest paid off that accrued during your term of service) requests completely online! This removes the need to fill out and submit paper forms.  Education and financial institutions can now access the system and process your requests online, resulting in much faster turn around of payments.  Some of the other major benefits include:
  1.  Never having to fill out and mail paper forms again
  2.  Tracking the status of your requests online
  3.  Managing your account online
  4.  Having easy access to help and information all within the system
