The U.S. Public Service Academy Act (S. 3958 and H.R. 6221), which was introduced last month by Sen. Arlen Specter (R-PA) and Sen. Hillary Clinton (D-NY) and Rep. Christopher Shays (R-CT) and Rep. Jim Moran (D-NY), has several more co-sponsors: Sens. Edward Kennedy (D-MA) and Barbara Mikulski (D-MD) and Reps. Tom Davis (R-VA), Harold Ford (D-TN), and Sheila Jackson-Lee (D-TX) all have rallied to support our cause.  With the November elections around the corner, the bill is not expected to see further movement until the next Congress.  Please click here to read the entire November 2006 update on the U.S. Public Service Academy.
