The School of Public Policy and Public Administration (SPPPA) in GW's Columbian College of Arts and Sciences (CCAS) is a focal point for public affairs education, research, and public service at The George Washington University. Building on a rich tradition of education for public service and on its location in the nation's capital, just a few blocks west of the White House, The George Washington University offers a superior education for students wishing to pursue public affairs oriented academic programs.

We offer numerous interdisciplinary opportunities within the University and through the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area. The school prides itself on well-balanced programs that provide students with strong policy analysis and research skills as well as administrative and general public management abilities.

The SPPPA welcomes applications from highly qualified individuals committed to public service for both part time and full time study. AmeriCorps alumni are eligible to receive a $5000 financial aid award for the MPA or MPP program. The application fee can be waived for current members and alumni.
